Privacy Policy
How Pixelore collects, uses, and protects personal information on pixelore.ca. Last updated 21 August 2026.
Who we are
Pixelore is a technology studio based in Ontario, Canada, operating the website pixelore.ca. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, write to info@pixelore.ca.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. When you use a form on this site we collect your name, email address, the topic you select, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. The submission is stored in this website’s database and emailed to us. Your IP address is recorded with the submission as part of spam prevention.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, referring site, device and browser type. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, request time, and user agent, which is used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not run public comments, user registration, or ecommerce checkout on this site, so we do not collect comment data, customer accounts, or payment information here.
Why we use it
We use the information you send us to reply to your inquiry, quote and deliver work, and keep a record of our correspondence. We use usage data to improve the site’s content and performance, and technical data to keep the site secure and available. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Cookies and similar technologies
Analytics cookies set by Google measure site usage. Our anti-spam service sets a cookie and records basic interaction data so it can tell a person from a bot. Our caching layer may set a technical cookie that contains no personal information. If you sign in to the website as an administrator, WordPress sets session cookies for that login. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though analytics will not count your visit.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that make this site work, and only for that purpose:
- Google (Analytics 4 and Site Kit) — usage measurement.
- Our anti-spam provider — receives submission metadata, including IP address and the content of a submission, to score it for spam.
- Our email and hosting providers — deliver the notification email and host the website and its database.
Some of these providers operate outside Canada, which means your information may be processed in another country and be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions and the related email for as long as we need them to answer your inquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence, and then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in Google Analytics. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time.
Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and comparable provincial legislation, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw a consent you previously gave. Email info@pixelore.ca and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, administrative access is limited to accounts that need it, and we keep the platform and its components patched. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the information you send us with the same care we apply to our clients’ systems.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
